The Franco-German cultural channel Arte has introduced Polish subtitles on selected programmes.
The programmes can be accessed on www.arte.tv/pl, as well as via apps on smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.
With Polish joining German, French, Spanish and English, Arte now reaches around 60% of Europeans in their native language.
Furthermore, over half of its programmes are available online worldwide.
English, Spanish and Polish subtitles for its programming have been created with the support of the European Union.
