The Russian cable operator ER Telecom had revenues of R7.1 billion (€100.8 million) in the third quarter, or 31.5% more than in the corresponding period last year.
However, reports ComNews, its net profit over the same period slumped by 54.5% to R150 million.
It adds that experts see the company’s results as strong, given that its main growth driver has been M&As.
Its new assets, once incorporated, will strengthen its results.
Meanwhile, Andrei Kuzyaev, ER Telecom’s president, noted that the main growth is its B2B business, where the operator is focusing on more value-added services.
ER Telecom has 5.6 million subscribers in the B2C sector as of the end of Q3, or 10% more than a year earlier.
