The M7 Group is moving the French language Belgian channels of its Telesat DTH service from Astra to Eutelsat Hotbird.
The channels involved are public La Une, La Deux, and La Trois, as well as private channels RTL TVI, RTL Club RTL and Pling RTL, as well as the radio stations La Première VivaCité, Musiq3, Classic21, Pure FM, Bel RTL, Mint and Radio Contact.
The channels will remain available on the Astra position at 19.2 degrees East until the end of the year; from January 1, 2017, the channels will only be available in Eutelsat Hotbird at 13 degrees East.
Telesat already offers its other French language channels on that orbital position. The operator will issue a new Fastscan for its receiver on November 17, in order to load the new frequencies.
