Telekom Romania ended the third quarter with 1,431,761 subscribers to its DTH, IPTV and cable services.
Although the figure was 2.1% up on the corresponding period last year, it was barely changed on three months earlier.
Meanwhile, TV revenues in Q3 were 5% higher than a year earlier.
Telekom Romania’s total fixed-line revenues in Q3 amounted to €149.1 million (+3.9% year-on-year), while pro forma EBITDA was €29.5 million (+23.4%).
Greece’s OTE, Telekom Romania’s parent company, saw strong growth in its TV service (IPTV and satellite) offer, ending Q3 with 478,033 subscribers, or 15.6% more than a year earlier.
Overall group revenues at OTE amounted to €997.9 million in Q3, up 2.7% year-on-year and the best quarterly growth in decade, being driven by Greece.
