Russia’s leading pay-TV operator Tricolor TV has declared itself to now be a multiplatform.
On November 1, it launched a new VOD service named kino.tricolor.tv. A proprietary web-based platform available on fixed and mobile devices, it offers content, all of which is in HD, from both Tricolor TV and its partners, who already include Tvigle, Tvzavr and Amedia TV.
Tricolor TV’s second online resource is tricolortvmag.ru, which provides viewers and internet users with updates on TV, cinema, fashio, sports and digital technologies.
Launched in late 2015, it had 2,867,614 unique users as of October 19 this year. Its daily traffic in October reached 22 million unique visits and from this month it will have a mobile version.
Tricolor TV’s third multiplatform area sees it developing ways for viewers to watch TV on mobile devices within their own homes.
