Arris International has named Dan Whalen as its President, Network and Cloud, responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s portfolio of broadband and video network infrastructure technologies and cloud-based software solutions.
It’s a promotion for Whalen, who since 2013 has been Arris’s senior vice president and general manager of Global Services. He will report to Arris CEO Bruce McClelland.
“Dan played an instrumental role in scaling Arris’s Global Services business into a key enabler of complex customer deployments around the world,” said McClelland. “His proven track record of success, breadth of customer leadership, and strategic insights provide an excellent foundation for helping our Network and Cloud business achieve the next era of growth.”
Prior to Arris, Whalen has worked for Cisco, KPMG, and Bell Atlantic across technologies including: broadband, advertising, middleware, OSS/BSS, fibre, Wi-Fi, and video.
