Dutch incumbent telecom operator KPN has added 64,000 IPTV homes, but this is partly offset by a decline in the number of DTT subscribers.
The number of homes that subscribe to KPN’s DTT service Digitenne is continuing to slide, resulting in a net results of plus 22,000 TV homes. At the end of Q3, the total number of TV customers was 2,321,000, of which 303,000 suscribe to Digitenne.
However, the growth of IPTV homes is slowing down: in Q1, KPN added 60,000 homes, in Q2 33,000.
At the end of Q3, KPN had 1,708,000 triple play households, with an ARPU of EUR41 per household.
