The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) ended the third quarter with 394,000 subscribers to its TV services, or 2.4% more than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, its TV ARPU increased by 1.3% to HRK83 (€11.05). In its latest set of results, the company notes that satellite TV, which is an extension of the the classical IPTV service, continues to grow and is expected to contribute significantly to the overall TV success.
HT’s revenues in the first nine months of the year amounted to HRK5,184 million (-0.1% year-on-year), with broadband and TV accounting for HRK986 million (-1.6%) of the total. EBITDA was HRK2,050 million (+1.9%) and net profit HRK752 million (+2.9%).
Commenting on the results, Davor Tomaskovic, president of the management board of HT, said: “In the third quarter again, we delivered good financial results. We are recording growth in the number of customers as well as growth in the segment of mobile operations, broadband, TV and energy. We continued to invest in network infrastructure and innovative services, thus further strengthening our position of a technological leader on the Croatian market.
