Poland’s TVN has acquired a majority stake in the YouTube partner network Gamellon for an undisclosed fee.
According to Wirtualne Media, Gamelon was launched in 2015 and currently provides computer games to over 100 YouTube channels.
Taken together, these channels have 19 million subscribers and are viewed 150 million times each month.
They will now be able to access content from TVN, which launched its own online video production and distribution company TVN Emotion Studio earlier this year.
TVN is owned by Scripps Networks Interactive and one of the leading commercial broadcasters in Poland.
