Romania will have its first ever channel dedicated to transport issues from next year.
Mediafax reports that the country’s National Audiovisual Council (CNA) has awarded a satellite licence to Telestore, a company that plans to operate a 24-hour channel named Trafic TV.
Trafic TV is expected to make its debut on May 1, 2017.
Targeting a chiefly young (18-49), urban and educated audience, its programming will be mostly (90%) produced in-house.
Trafic TV will be ad funded and total invrestment in the project has been put a €1 million, with €400,000 of the total allocated to equipment.
