Joachim Knör will become the new head of key account management at Media Broadcast on November 1, 2016.
The 44-year old will be responsible for the business activities with all public broadcasters and the event broadcasting area at the German technical service provider.
Knör will succeed Bernhard Schembs, who will retire, and report directly to Holger Meinzer, chief commercial officer B2B at Media Broadcast.
Knör comes from Astra Deutschland where we headed the business in Central Western Europe as vice president commercial development. He was previously responsible for the collaboration with networks operators and telecommunication providers as vice president networks & distributors at the satellite operator.
He also gained experiences in content distribution as head of cable networks at pay-TV broadcaster Premiere (now Sky Deutschland).
