The Czech Republic’s longest established IPTV platform O2 TV is celebrating its 10th anniversary by offering 57 channels free of charge to all its customers from November until the end of the year.
O2 TV had secured over 100,000 customers two years after its launch and currently has in excess of 200,000.
Highlights in its 10-year history include the addition of HD channels (2011), catch-up (2013), online library (2014), mobile service O2 TV Go (2014), securing rights to the Champions League (2015) and introduction of a new set-top box (2015).
O2 TV notes that it reached the 200,000-subscriber mark in January this year.
The 57 TV channels will be in addition to those already provided by the service.
