Most broadcasters in the Czech Republic are now either testing or have adopted HbbTV.
According to Rozhlas.cz, the latest to have embarked on trials with the help of the national transmission company CRa are Slagr TV, Ocko Gold and Barrandov channels TV Barrandov, Kino Barrandov, Barrandov Plus and Barrandov Muzika.
Ocko Gold’s tests have meanwhile been streaming Ocko Express and Generation O, while Ocko itself has been offering HbbTV apps for several years.
Nova, the Czech Republic’s leading broadcaster, is also preparing for HbbTV, while Prima, its nearest rival, has just introduced the Primacek application on Prima TV.
