The Czech Republic’s leading broadcaster Nova plans to introduce HbbTV commercials this autumn, according to Jan Vlcek, the company’s executive director and sales director.
Speaking to MediaGuru and quoted by CME, he added that, “for us, it is a complement to our portfolio and another step towards showing the potential synergies”.
Commenting on programmatic advertising, Vlcek said that the Nova Group is currently working with Google and Sklik and broadening cooperation with another company, Adform.
“The ‘automated guaranteed’, an interface via which agencies will be able to book and buy free impressions with a guarantee from us, will be a new feature. We have a greater capacity in certain parts of the year, and we can use it in programmatic”.
He also said the company had no problem with ad capacity for the web and that audience interest in its portals was evolving very well.
