The French 24/7 celebrity news channel Non Stop People has renewed its exclusive partnership with Canal+ Group and expands internationally.
Non Stop People, a joint venture between Banijay Group and Mediatic System is renewing its exclusive distribution partnership with the Canal+ Group for the French market, making the 24/7 HD channel available to the entire Canal+ satellite and IPTV subscribers’ base in France, as well as part of the new selected Canal+channels’ bundles launched recently on Free and Orange.
To further strengthen its appeal, in addition to the daily 4.5 hours of fresh content, 7 daily shows and 2,000 celebrity news stories produced each month, Non Stop People is introducing Harry Connick Junior’s daily daytime entertainment show Harry (from NBCUniversal) as of this fall.
Harry will be shown every day Monday to Friday at 7pm exclusively on Non Stop People in France. First celebrity guests include: Sandra Bullock, Russel Crowe, Renée Zellweger, Zooey Deschanel and Morgan Freeman.
Next to its Spanish version launched 18 months ago exclusively on Telefonica’s Movistar TV platform in Spain, Non Stop People looks to further expand internationally: the French channel is today available in France, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyane, Reunion Island, Mauritius, Madagascar, Morroco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Lebanon.
