MIPCOM is organising the third edition of its Carriage Deal Forum , a leading market place for streaming platforms, distribution of channels, and nonlinear services around the world.
Around 350 buyers are expected to attend this programme, designed to help foster carriage agreements between network operators, channels and OTT platforms, and taking place on Tuesday 18 October 2016.
Among carriers participating in the Forum are Beln Media, Canal+ Groupe, Freesat, OSN, Roku and Telefonica while channel operators attending include Viacom International Media Networks, Ginx Esports, Insight TV, RTL International, Shorts TV, SPI international, Trace TV and TV One.
For channels, the Carriage Deal Forum is an opportunity to expand coverage and meet operators from around the world. For operators, it’s a chance to enrich their channel line-up, network with key content and service providers, and broaden their business by finding future partners.
The morning conferences will provide a fresh look at what’s trending on the world content distribution carriage scene and give the opportunity to curated channels and streaming platforms to pitch their service to carriers and convince them to incorporate them in their bundles. This business-oriented programme will be followed by a networking lunch, and wrap up with intensive matchmaking meetings between channels and operators.
