Seoul-based public service broadcaster Arirang TV has introduced an HD version on Sky in the UK and Ireland.

The HD channel is being supported by Globecast.

On top of the ground services and satellite capacity, Globecast provided Arirang TV with assistance and guidance to gain a European Broadcasting License, liaised with the UK satellite platforms Sky andFreesat, and worked with PRS for Music regarding the channel’s music licensing.
