Marcin Cichy has officially assumed the position of president of Poland’s Office of Electronic Communications (UKE).
His appointment was first confirmed by parliament (Sejm) on September 14 and then rubber-stamped by the senate on September 22.
Cichy was most recently the director of the analytics bureau at the Ministry of Digitisation.
He replaces Magdalena Gaj, who resigned before the end of her term in office.
