The Czech Republic’s Nova Group has strengthened its focus on new media by hiring Piotr Kocel as a director responsible for all activities in the sector.
Kocel, who has extensive experience in development and entrepreneurship, was previously responsible for several strategic international projects including the acquisition of BroadbandTV Corp by, and its integration into, RTL Group.
Kocel worked as VP of corporate development and integration at RTL Group for the last few years, prior to which he worked as a senior strategy executive at the company’s headquarters in Luxembourg.
Commenting on his appointment, Christoph Mainusch, MD and CEO of Nova, said: “I am glad to welcome Piotr Koce?a as part of a team of Nova. I believe that his vast experience will be of great benefit to Nova”.
