Skylink is pressing ahead with its plans to terminate SD broadcasts of leading Czech and Slovak TV channels.
According to the M7 Group-owned DTH platform, it will stop transmitting services from the Czech public broadcaster Ceske Televize – CT1, CT2, CT24, CT Sport and CT:D/art – and the commercial stations Nova and Prima in the format on November 15.
Furthermore, it will no longer offer SD versions of all Slovak public and commercial TV stations by the end of the year.
Skylink recommends the use of receivers with the name Skylink Ready to receive HD services.
