Russia’s Red Media has launched a new channel aimed at pre-school children.
Named Malysh, it broadcasts cartoon series and educational programmes on a daily basis, fully adapted for a Russian audience, and plans to have over 1,000 hours of exclusive content in the first year.
Malysh has been developed in partnership with the company Tunz Entertainment Rasha and will be distributed exclusively by Red Media in Russia, the CIS and Georgia, as well the Baltic Republics.
Part of Gazprom Media, Red Media is one of the leading producers and distributors of thematic channels for cable and satellite broadcasting in Russia.
The audience coverage of its channels exceeds 101 million viewers.
