Digital Media Centre (DMC), which is part of AMC Networks International, has appointed Raymond Lamphen as its general manager.
In his new role, Lamphen will provide strategic direction and leadership to the group, ensuring the continued growth and positioning of the DMC as a leading European media gateway, network operations, and management centre, delivering software-defined, cloud-broadcast solutions.
Lamphen has worked in the broadcast industry for over 15 years, most recently as the head of broadcast and media services, Benelux, for Ericsson. Previously, he was at Technicolor and NOB, where he was responsible for operations and strategic change programs.
Commenting on the appointment, Steve Pontillo, EVP & CTO for AMC Networks, said: “Raymond joins the Digital Media Centre as we grow and develop the business whilst continuing to provide a high level tailored service to our existing clients.
