Dennis Camlek has been appointed executive VP, strategy and consumer marketing at National Geographic Channel.
Based in Washington DC and reporting to the soon-to-be-announced CMO of National Geographic Partners, he will be responsible for the US and also work closely with the marketing heads of Europe, Asia and Latin America to ensure consistency globally across National Geographic networks.
Commenting on the appointment, Courteney Monroe, National Geographic Global Networks CEO, said: “With the launch of our new premium programming vision, which includes the upcoming epic new series Mars, we are thrilled to have Dennis on board to strengthen our programming-specific marketing efforts.

Prior to joining National Geographic Channel, Camlek was senior VP of Turner Media Group, Turner Broadcasting System, and VP, strategic media planning for Turner Media Group. Earlier, he held senior positions at PHD and Horizon Media.
