Vubiquity and Virgin Media have signed a multi-year contract extension for the management of Virgin’s on demand services. The agreement covers cable, broadband and TV Anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
Vubiquity’s studio deals covering the latest release films and library classics give Virgin access to some 1,200 movies.

Vubiquity will also continue to provide digital content supply chain solutions to Virgin Media’s on-demand services guaranteeing that digital assets and metadata for movies, TV box sets and exclusives, Catch Up TV and kids content are quickly acquired, transcoded, complied for regulatory requirements, packaged and published on time to Virgin’s on-demand services.
