Jeremy Maddocks is to leave Cisco, where he is currently regional director, Middle East, Russia, CIS and CEE, on October 14.
He will also leave the TV and broadcasting industry as a whole, in which he has worked for nearly 18 years, in order to pursue other business interests.
In an email to friends and colleagues Maddocks explained “A few of you may know that I have some other completely different business interests which I have neglected in recent years but they have now grown to a point where they desperately need my full attention to reach their true potential. After much thought and consideration, I intend to give it my total focus therefore sadly, I shall no longer be participating in the amazing market which is broadcast and TV.”
Maddocks joined NDS in February 1999 and was regional director Russia, CIS, Central & Europe until December 2012.
He has been with Cisco from January 2013 until the present date.
