Major doubts have begun to surface over the recent award of four national TV licences in Greece.
Ekathimerini reports that the parliamentary ethics committee was expected to summon the state minister Nikos Pappas and four winners on Tuesday, September 20, to answer questions related to the procedure of the licence competition.
There have also been for calls Yiannis Kalogritas, one of the winners, to have his licence revoked if accusations against him of tax evasion are proven.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, the four licences were awarded earlier this month in controversial circumstances.
The winners were Skai, Alter Ego, Antenna TV and Toxotis, a construction group owned by Kalogritas.
