The SVOD service Afrostream is now available in the Pass Vidéo section to Orange TV subscribers in mainland France who have the Livebox 4 or Livebox Play and their respective decoders.
It costs €6.99 a month to receive, with no commitment, and will soon also be offered on tablets and mobiles.
Afrostream offers hundreds of hours of Afro-American, Caribbean and African content, with videos in HD, in French and in their original version with subtitles.
Orange and Afrostream began working in April 2015 with Orange Fab, an Orange start-up incubator. Their collaboration was strengthened six months later by an Orange Digital Ventures minority shareholding.
The two parties intend to distribute Afrostream more widely in other countries within the Orange Group’s footprint.
