Kevin MacLellan has had his role at NBCUniversal expanded to chairman, global distribution and international.
Besides leading the company’s international businesses, he was now also have oversight of domestic television and media sales, led by Frances Manfredi.
MacLellan has been chairman, NBCUniversal International, since 2013. Responsible for businesses outside North America, he oversaw the launch of the next-generation SVOD service hayu in the UK, Ireland and Australia in March this year.
MacLellan will continue to be based in London.
He will also act as chair for the upcoming Royal Television Society (RTS) conference in London on Tuesday, September 27, in which Steve Burke, CEO NBCUniversal, will deliver the keynote.
