Sales VP joins BBC Worldwide

Adam BishopBBC Worldwide has appointed Adam Bishop to the newly created role of VP of sales for German and French speaking territories.

Based in London, he will hold responsibility for all TV and digital sales, licensing and publishing across these key markets for BBC Worldwide.

Bishop will report to Tobi de Graaff, EVP Western Europe, and lead teams in London, Cologne and Paris.

Bishop has worked for the past 13 years in the FMCG sector for Procter & Gamble. During this period, he has held a diverse range of positions including the leadership of several strategic client relationships and overseeing the Hair Care UK & Ireland business.

Commenting on the appointment, de Graaff said: “We look forward to Adam joining us, bringing with him a wealth of experience from another dynamic, very competitive industry.”

Bishop added: “I am incredibly excited to join the TV industry and honoured that it is with BBC Worldwide – a world class company that I have long admired. I look forward to working with the teams and our clients to further build the business in these important markets.”
