The security platform product provider Smit has begun to supply its Advanced Security CAM to Sun Direct, a DTH operator in India.
Commenting on the development, a spokesperson for Sun Direct said: “We are very happy to cooperate with Smit. They were very efficient and flexible and helped us launch the DTH CAM into our market.
“In the future we will extend our partnership with SMiT to other types of products that will help us keep our position in the market as an innovative company.”
Bingyu Xiang, VP technical of Smit, added: “With sharing the one remote controller of TV or STB, Smit CAM gives a simple way to enjoy Sun Direct pay-TV services. It is a great move to become the CAM provider of SunDirect, and we will keep bringing the latest technology to SunDirect’s subscribers”.
Sun Direct has over ten million subscribers and its offer consists of over 200 TV channels in all Indian languages.
