Dutch music channel Xite has launched a 100% native 4K Ultra HD channel with Dolby Digital Audio on the KPN IPTV network for selected customers.
The channel is available to customers who have a 4k/Ultra HD set-top box, which KPN is now trialing. In the pilot with selected KPN customers Xite 4K is now available 24 hours a day to subscribers who are in possession of the new KPN 4K UHD set-top box.

KPN is using the ZTE ZXV8001 Ultra HD set-top box for the trial with 1,000 customers. Programming in 4k from SPI’s Funbox 4k/Ultra HD is included in the offer.
