Metraweather Broadcast and media meteorologist, Chester Lampkin, returns to RAI Amsterdam to present an all new live weather show from the IBCTV studio at IBC 2016.
He will be illustrating to producers, news editors and designers how he uses the features in MetraWeather’s Weatherscape XT weather graphics platform to craft compelling graphics and social media engagement.
“Newsbrands understand how their weather brand and trusted content builds audience loyalty day-on-day and attracts the return visits and stickability so prized by advertisers,” said Chester on his plans for IBC 2016.
“I will be demonstrating how Weatherscape XT enables newsrooms to swiftly produce high-quality weather content by ingesting data and translating it into world-class animations that inform audiences about the day’s weather and the forecast for the coming days. And I’ll be showing how I engage hour-by-hour with my audiences on social media using Weatherscape.”
In conjunction with the live IBCTV shows, Chester and MetraWeather will host broadcasters in Hall 11.B30c where the new features in Weatherscape XT Black Edition can be viewed in real-time.
