Sky Deutschland launches new OTT platform

Sky Ticket iPadGerman pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has set up a new OTT platform providing access to its Bundesliga, sports, movies, series and entertainment offer in Germany and Austria without a regular, long-term subscription.

Sky Ticket replaces the former Sky Online and functions through day, week and month passes.

Access is possible through the Sky Ticket website as well as through apps on the iPad, iPhone, selected Android smartphones and tablets, Windows 10 Mobile, PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox One, smart TV sets from Samsung and LG, Apple TV, Chromecast and the Roku Sky TV Box.

With the Supersport day ticket for €9.99 the Supersport 7-day ticket for €14.99 and the Supersport 1-month ticket for €29.99, sports fans gain access to the whole sports portfolio of the Sky Sport and Sky Sport Bundesliga channels including all games of the first and second-division Bundesliga, the DFB Cup and the UEFA Champions League as well as all matches of the German and Austria teams in the UEFA Europa League. It also comprises all racing weekends of the Formula 1, the EHF Champions League, tennis, golf and further live sports coverage.

Sky TicketsThe Entertainment 1-month ticket covers current series, children’s programmes, documentaries and Sky Sport News while the Cinema 1-month ticket comprises current blockbusters shown on television for the first time.

As an introductory special, the Entertainment 1-month ticket costs €4.99 instead of the regular price of €9.99 in the first three months while the Cinema 1-month ticket is offered for €7.49 instead of €14.99.
