OTT service M2M launches in the Netherlands and Belgium

August 26, 2016 10.23 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Mobile2Morrow-girlFledgling Dutch OTT TV provider Mobile2Morrow (M2M) has launched its services in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Mobile2Morrow offers a basic channel package for EUR5.99 per month, with other channels to be added a la carte, from EUR 0.15 per month. The service is available on Apple TV, as well as on Android and iOS smart phones. A browser version will become available in the near future.

The Dutch package includes 13 regional channels, but so far no national broadcasters have been contracted.

“We offer channels that until now could not be seen in the Netherlands and Belgium,” said founder Edwin Snelderwaard.

“We are trying to create the widest possible international offerings, in addition to national channels. This allows the viewer to completely switch, or use M2M TV as an additional service.”

A la carte options include an Italian bouquet with six channels from RAI, RTL International, Al Jazeera, RT, Motorvision TV, 24 Horas and approximately 75 additional channels.

A full ist of channels can be found on the platform’s website. M2M TV also plans to add 4k/Ultra HD channels, as well as on-demand content.

M2M TV has been adding channels during the past few months, and is now rolling out the service in the Netherlands and Belgium. However, M2M is available worldwide, but with varying channel selections, according to the acquired distribution rights.
