Support for Ultra High Definition/4K service monitoring are included in the latest version of Agama’s video service assurance solution.
The Swedish company will be bringing the technology, which allows for full analysis of HEVC-encoded content, to IBC 2016 (Amsterdam, September 8 to 13).
The system is designed to help operators helps implement a data-driven of delivering optimal service quality, improve operational efficiency and increase customer understanding.

Version 5.1 also features enhanced fault detection and visualisation tools for cable operators that pinpoint where, in the RF-access network, problems have occurred and what the customer impact is. This leads to better prioritisation, escalation and resolution for improved customer satisfaction.
