Gokhan Ogut, the CEO of Vodafone Turkey, has decided to step down.
Quoting a written statement provided by the company, Hurriyet reports that he will be replaced by Colman Deegan, Vodafone Italy’s CFO.
It adds that Ogut will leave the company on October 19 after seven years to assess new career opportunities.
Meanwhile, Deegan, who will take up the position next month, will report to Serpil Timuray, former Vodafone Turkey CEO and now the Vodafone Group’s Africa, Middle East, Asia and Pacific (AMAP) CEO.
Timuray will also act as Vodafone Turkey Chair.
Deegan has been with Vodafone since 1998, prior to which he was a banker in Ireland.
