Vedomosti notes that while revenues from cable TV services fell by 20% to R1.2 billion, those for interactive TV rose by 39% to R1.77 billion.
Meanwhile, revenues from broadband services increased by around 1.22% to R5.52 billion.
Quoting TMT Consulting, it adds that ER Telecom was the fourth leading pay-TV provider in Russia in subscriber numbers in Q2, its total of 2.57 million as of the end of June representing an 11.6% year-on-year increase, the largest among operators in the country.
Although it had zero growth in broadband subscribers, the 2.84 million total put in in second place behind Rostelecom’s 11.3 million.
ER Telecom is understood to be a tak-over target for the mobile operator MegaFon.
