Tele Columbus grows; UHD from December

Tele Columbus BerlinGermany’s third-largest cable operator Tele Columbus has increased its customer base in Q2 2016 by 3,000 to a total of 3.6 million customers.

More than 10,000 customers signed up for internet access; the data rate amounts to up to 400Mbps. Around 11,000 customers opted for telephony.

The average monthly revenue per user grew from €15.9 in Q1 2016 to €16.5 in Q2 2016.

In December 2016, Tele Columbus wants to roll out its new Ultra HD-capable multiscreen platform Advance TV combining linear TV, video-on-demand services, TV apps and mobile services.
