The Indian travel channel travelxp HD is set to make its debut in Central and Eastern Europe by August 15.
According to Television Post, it has entered into an agreement with Telekom Austria, which will act as a technical contributor for the channel’s Balkan CEE feeds via Eutelsat 16A.
It adds that Travelxp HD is a front-runner in 4k technology and already has over 100 hours of Ultra HD content in its library.
Furthermore,Travelxp HD aims to launch globally in 4k by February 2017.
Travelxp HD already has a strong presence in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and North America. It aims to eventually also be available throughout the whole of Europe.
The channel is based in Mumbai and owned by Celebrities Management Private Limited, a company with interests in broadcasting, advertising, media consulting and other related services and whose associate companies operate five satellite channels around the globe.
