The Polish alternative telco Netia ended the second quarter with 172,300 subscribers to its Telewizja Osobista (‘Personal Television) TV service.
This was 14% more than a year earlier and a 2% increase on the Q1 total.
In its latest set of results, the company notes that 41% of its broadband subscribers also opted for the TV service in Q2.
Furthermore, the biggest drivers for growth for Telewizja Osobista were completely new customers, the modernisation of the company’s NGA network and the base of former Aster subscribers.
Netia’s revenues in Q2 amounted to PLN386,874,000 (€89,658,800), or 1.7% more than in the corresponding period last year.
Consolidated EBITDA was PLN115,113,000 (4.8%), while consolidated net revenues stood at PLN23,701,000, or over three times the PLN6,564,000 posted a year earlier.
