Eleven nears 100% Polish coverage

ToyaEleven Sports Network has signed a multi-year agreement with the Polish cable operator Toya.

As a result, it now has close to 100% TV distribution of its Eleven and Eleven Sports channels in Poland.

Both channels are available on a total of 53 cable operators across the country, including the five largest (UPC, Vectra, Multimedia, Inea and Toya), as well as both DTH platforms (nc+ and Cyfrowy Polsat) and online through the Eleven Sports digital service, player.pl and Ipla.

In addition in Toya, Eleven Sports Network has signed multi-year distribution agreements with with five more cable operators in Poland, namely Satpol, E-cho, Telewizja Kablowa Koszalin, Podlaskie Sieci ?wiat?owodowe, and Feromedia.

Commenting on the Toya agreement, Danny Menken, group MD Eleven Sports Network, said: “With the new seasons of LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1 kicking off in the coming weeks, and the ongoing excitement of live F1 action, now is the perfect time for TOYA to add our channels to their offering.

“Securing close to 100% distribution of our channels in under a year is a fantastic achievement, and we are proud to bring our fully localised coverage of all our top-level sports properties to the millions of passionate fans in Poland.”

Jacek Kobierzycki, general director, Toya, added: “Introducing Eleven’s channels to our offering is part of our strategy to guarantee the continuous development of our HD line-up, and ensure our packages are always attractive to subscribers.

“Their top-level sports content will enhance our offering which includes 12 sports channels, and the fact we will also offer both channels a la carte is sure to excite all sports fans.”
