Antik Technology has developed the first interactive satellite receiver – the Antik Mini 2S – in Slovakia for its parent company Antik Telecom.
In a statement, Antik Telecom says that Slovak DTH viewers can for the first time access TV archives of up to 20 days, video rental and hundreds of TV channels via an internet connection – something that has been available to IPTV viewers for a number of years.
It adds that interactive services are offered to Antik customers free of charge.
Furthermore, Antik’s satellite TV packages can now be received for a lower monthly fee and include a new Hungarian package.
The latter costs €2 a month, while the basic ‘Family’ package costs €7.90 a month.
To access interactive features requires an internet connection of at least 5 Mbps.
