A+E expands in Poland

August 2, 2016 09.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

IneaThe A+E channels History, Lifetime and H2 have launched on Inea, one of the leading cable operators in Poland.

As a result, the services now reach over 100,000 additional homes across the country.

History will be included in Inea’s basic package, while Lifetime and H2 will be in Inea’s extended tier.

Commenting on the development, Izabella Wiley, general manager at A+E Networks Poland, said: “This deal with Inea sets another milestone for our business in Poland. Thanks to this agreement our three channel brands will gain even more loyal viewers not only in Poznan, but also in the whole Wielkopolska region. In the coming months our channels are offering a diverse range of great programming that we are sure will attract Inea subscribers.”

Tomasz Zamyslny, marketing director at Inea, added: “We are pleased with the inclusion of A+E Networks’ channels on Inea and very much look forward to providing quality programming content for our audience. We are convinced this enrichment to our offer will be well received by customers.”
