M7 Group’s Dutch DTH platform CanalDigitaal is adding two RTL channels, RTL Crime and RTL Telekids, as linear channels on its new hybrid satellite receivers.
With the move, the DTH platform is now offering all channels from the Dutch RTL group.
The platform is now offering all its new customers a hybrid STB, combining satellite reception and broadband access, as the new standard. Existing customers can upgrade and request a hybrid receiver.
Canal Digitaal is now offering two types of STBs, the HD receiver M7 MZ-101 and thee HD-recorder M7 MP-201.
M7 said that it is also introducing hybrid receivers in its other markets, including TV Vlaanderen and Télésat in Belgium, AustriaSat/HD Austria in Austria, AustriaSat Hungary for hungary, and Skylink in Czech and Slovak republics.
