SPI International will launch eight thematic channels on Miabox, an OTT platform in Ivory Coast that is planning to offer its services across sub-Saharan Africa.
The bouquet consists of FilmBox Africa, FilmBox Art House, FightBox, Fast&FunBox, FashionBox, DocuBox, 360TuneBox and MadscreenBox.
Of these, four – FilmBox, FilmBox Art House, DocuBox and MadscreenBox – will be localised in the French language.
Commenting on the launch, Amit Karni, SPI International’s head of sales Africa, said: “As we expand our distribution footprint in Africa we are glad to bring FilmBox channels to viewers in Ivory Coast.
“With the four channels localised in French we are looking forward to attracting more French-speaking viewers throughout the sub-Saharan Africa”.
