Hungary’s TV2 Group has reached a long-term agreement with the national transmission company Antenna Hungária.
As a result, three new channels will appear on the free-to-view DTT platform MinDig TV later this year, starting with Izuara TV on August 14.
MinDig TV is watched in 750,000 households and will eventually offer 12 channels, five of which will be in HD.
TV2 Group is one of the leading commercial broadcasters in Hungary.
Meanwhile, Antenna Hungária also operates a pay-DTT service named MinDig TV Extra.
