Netflix will start charging Polish customers in local currency from next month.
According to Wirtualne Media, this will fix the cost of receiving the service rather than have it dependent on exchange rates.
The Basic, Standard and Premium packages will be offered for PLN34, PLN43 and PLN52 a month respectively, which are roughly the same as the current €7.99, €9.99 and €11.99 a month.
However, there will be no change to the way viewers can pay for Netflix, which is by credit card or PayPal.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, Netflix is also likely to become more active in marketing its service in Poland.
To that effect, it may start working with the agency K2.
Netflix was launched in Poland in January this year and was accessed by 337,700 users via PCs after one month.
However, only a quarter of this number were watching the service in February and half in March.
No viewing figures have since been released.
