Two of Poland’s leading cable operators have made significant improvements to their offers.
In the case of Multimedia Polska, it has begun testing a new service named Multimedia GO, which gives subscribers access to its TV and VOD offers on PCs, smartphones and tablets on any internet connection.
The service, which also includes seven-day catch-up, is initially providing access to 117 TV channels, 35 of which are in HD, and will be available free of charge to Multimedia Polska’s entire subscriber base by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, UPC Polska, the market leader, has added Nuta.TV to its line-up, which now includes 88 channels in HD.
It has also extended the availability of its ultra-fast internet service, targeting businesses and offering download speeds of up to 600 Mbps, to more locations.
It can now be received in 30 cities throughout the country, with the latest additions including Katowice, Krakow, Bydgoszcz and Kielce.
