Steve Donachie joins Triax as CCO

Steve DonachieSteve Donachie will start as the new Chief Commercial Officer reporting to the Triax Executive Board CEO, Claus Omann.

Steve joins Triax after seven years at Pace plc (now Arris) where he held a number of senior management positions lastly as VP leading Pace’s satellite business in the EMEA region. Steve is a 30 year industry veteran of Broadband, Wireless telecoms & Digital TV business. Steve previously held senior sales & product marketing positions living in Europe, Asia, Middle East & Africa.

Steve said “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Triax exec team at this very exciting time in the company’s evolution from an historic, well known hardware product supplier to a high quality TV distribution network solution provider. With the recent investment of Polaris Private Equity in Triax we are even better positioned to expand sales of our TV distribution network business internationally across the market segments for Single Residential Homes, Local Cable Networks for apartments and businesses like hotels and through our extensive partner network for Public & Private TV network operators”.

Steve will lead the sales and commercial management teams across Triax’s EMEA offices at the Denmark HQ and in Sweden, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Hungary and internationally in Dubai plus will continue to work with key partners for the APAC & Americas regions.

Claus Oman, Triax CEO, said “Triax is on a new journey by 2020 to be the preferred connectivity partner to Professionals & Operators in the TV network distribution industry and to continue to grow our EMEA and international business built on Triax’s great reputation for Reliability & Innovation. Steve’s international, sales & commercial experience in the TV business will help renew our customer facing organization and lead us towards achieving the Triax growth objectives for the business.”
