The entry deadline for the Eutelsat TV Awards 2016 has been extended to Monday 25 July.
Registration is open for all channels that are broadcast on any of the Eutelsat satellites.
An international jury of media experts (see picture for the 2015 jury) will assign Awards to channels broadcasting through Eutelsat satellites in the following categories: Children’s, Cinema, Culture/Documentaries, Fiction/General Entertainment, Lifestyle, Music, News, Sports, and there will be a special award for Best Programme.
Registration now closes on 25 July, and can be done at the special Eutelsat TV Awards website.
The registration process is easy! Just open an account in the special, reserved area; fill in the registration form for the channel/s; and upload channel logo, showreel and daily schedule.
This year’s prize-giving ceremony will take place in Milan on November 25, 2016, at the iconic Palazzo del Ghiaccio.
The shortlist of nominees is selected by an independent panel of media experts: their selection is made upon knowledge of the channels and after viewing the sample material prepared by the channels and their live programming. They meet approximately two months in advance of the Awards to evaluate the quality of production and originality of programming and assign three nominations per category. Broadband TV News’ Robert Briel will again take part in this year’s jury for the Awards.
